Through advocacy, partnerships, and community initiatives, the organization helps ensure the long-term vitality of both the installation and surrounding communities.
Position Overview
Advocate Drum seeks a highly organized and motivated Executive Assistant / Office Manager to support leadership and manage day-to-day administrative and financial operations.Key Responsibilities
- · Provide executive-level administrative support to the executive director and board of directors.
- · Manage calendars, meetings, and communications for the organization
- · Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes
- · Maintain financial records using QuickBooks, including bookkeeping, financial tracking and reporting
- · Assist with budgeting, invoices, and grant management
- · Manage end-to-end payroll process for three employees, using ADP, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- · Coordinate internal communications and organizational documentation
- · Manage social media accounts, develop content calendar, create and respond to posts, and analyze social media traffic
- · Support organizational initiatives, programs, and events
Qualifications
- · Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping required
- · Strong organizational and time management skills
- · Ability to manage multiple priorities and support executive-level staff
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- · Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- · Experience working with a nonprofit organization is a plus
- · Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
