Canton College Foundation seeks a detail-oriented and organized individual with exceptional accounting, customer service and data management skills to join our dynamic non-profit organization serving SUNY Canton.
Required Qualifications:- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business; or plan to obtain a degree within one year.
- General comfort and proficiency in various software systems.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel as well as stand-alone accounting software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- One to three years of accounting experience.
- Experience with enterprise data management systems.
- Previous experience working in Higher Education.
- Valid driver's license.
Duties:- Gift processing, donor acknowledgement and accounts receivable.
- Accounts payable.
- Faculty/staff awards, Campus Enhancement awards and departmental purchasing.
- Payroll/HR.
- Other duties as assigned.
